On July 2, 2022, the staff and students of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University took part in events dedicated to the International Day of Seafarers.

The student of the Faculty of Maritime Engineering Bachelor's Degree Program "Maritime Navigation" of Batumi Navigation Teaching University – Nika Goliadze will be funded for two academic years tuition fees.

On June 21-23, 2022, Lali Khvedelidze, Head of the Administration of Batumi Navigation Teaching University / Head of the Department of Vocational Education attended the conference "Skills Ecosystem and a New Stage of Reform".

"Sustainable Transport System and Maritime Logistics" - on June 24, 2022, the Sixth International Conference was organized by the Batumi Navigation Teaching University.  

On June 23, 2022, students of the undergraduate and vocational education programmes of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University attended the public lecture "Resilience and safety culture for Cadets" / "Seafarer's First steps at Sea".

On June 15-19, 2022, representatives (Dzmitry Marmura; Jerzy Tryka) of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw had a working visit to the Batumi Navigation Teaching University.

On June 17, 2022, the staff of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Professors Naira Tabidze, Lela Shanidze and Nino Samkharadze attended the training "Raising Awareness on Cyber-Hygiene ".

On June 16-17, 2022, the Chancellor of Batumi Navigation Teaching University Lali Khvedelidze and the Deputy Rector Gela Gvarishvili underwent ISO 9001: 2015 internal auditor training.
